Brian and Amy Sweet grew up in the Northeast, Amy in Maine, and Brian in upstate New York, and they met when they were both living in Vermont. They spent this past year travelling by bicycle across the southern U.S. and across the middle of Europe, before flying to China to teach English to high school students there. The year of travel was a wonderful journey, and an excellent break from the "real world". Before that, the couple owned and operated a small town independent bookstore in Washington state for eight years. They are now residing in rural New Hampshire, in the White Mountains.
